ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you visit Brockham Computers or send e-mails to us, you are communicating
with us electronically.
You consent to receive communications from us electronically.
You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications
that we provide to you electronically, satisfy any legal requirement of
communications that would otherwise be in writing.
WARRANTY & RETURNS PROCEEDURE
All products (unless otherwise stated) are supplied with a Return to Base
warranty and are guaranteed, for 12 months from purchase, to be free of
any manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not cover accidental damage
or damage caused by misuse.
PLEASE NOTE - we DO NOT accept returns unless authorised and ALL returns
must be accompanied by returns paperwork, which will be issued to you upon
receipt of fault/damage notification. EE&O
Protection of Your Information:
Brockham Computers does not automatically capture or store personal information, other than logging the user's IP address and session info such as the duration of the visit and the type of browser used. This is recognised by the Web server and is only used for system administration and to provide statistics which Brockham Computers uses to evaluate use of the site.
We do not use cookies for collecting user information from the site.
You may be asked for personal information if you want to take advantage of specific services we offer. In each case we will only use the personal information you provide to deliver the services you have told us you wish to take part in. We will not provide any of your details to third party suppliers without your consent.
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act, we a required to share with you any information we hold about you, providing we receive your request in writing. The Data Protection Act gives individuals the right to know what information we hold about them. It provides a framework to ensure that personal information is handled properly. Brockham Computers comply with the following eight principles, which make sure that personal information is:
- Fairly and lawfully processed
- Processed for limited purposes
- Adequate, relevant and not excessive
- Accurate and up to date
- Not kept for longer than is necessary
- Processed in line with your rights
- Secure
- Not transferred to other countries without adequate protection

Payment:
Brockham Computers reserve the right to request a deposit for ‘custom build’ works. All outstanding monies will be due for payment upon delivery or set-up of equipment, unless otherwise stated in writing. Legal ownership does not pass until payment has been received in full. We reserve the right to charge interest on any late payments or remove equipment accordingly.
Force Majeure:
Brockham Computers will not be deemed to be in breach of any of its obligations under the agreement or otherwise be liable to the Customer due to any delay in performing its obligations by reason of any cause or event beyond our control (including without limitation breakdown of plant machinery, strike or industrial dispute, shortage of materials or failure of or delay in receiving supplies, act of war (whether declared or not), Act of God, inclement weather, fire, or any law regulation of any government or local or municipal authority. If any such event continues for more than 28 days the Supplier may terminate the agreement forthwith by written notice to the Customer without prejudice to the accrued rights of either party.
